Fort Worth partners with Cisco to promote digital inclusion in underserved neighborhoods

Cisco has partnered with the Metropolis of Fort Price in Texas to announce expanded, free Wi-Fi entry in neighborhoods with restricted connectivity.

Cisco, digital providers and options supplier Presidio and Fort Price Mayor Mattie Parker introduced the neighborhood Wi-Fi initiative on the expanded metropolis community named CFW-Neighborhood.

This affords Web entry in 5 Fort Price neighborhoods: Ash Crescent, Como, Northside, Rosemont and Cease Six.

Deployment is scheduled to be accomplished this fall. At the moment, over 60,000 Fort Price residents lack entry to dwelling connectivity. This neighborhood Wi-Fi initiative will present free entry to 5 underserved neighborhoods, dwelling to an estimated 40,000 residents.
